Who We Are…
Effective Animal Advocacy Kenya (EAAK) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the welfare of animals through evidence-based strategies, community outreach, and education. We work across Kenya to promote compassionate living,
influence policy, and empower advocates to make a lasting impact for animals.
🐾 Our Journey So Far
EAAK began with a small group of advocates who saw the urgent need to improve farm animal welfare in Kenya. While many organizations focused on companion animals, few addressed the cruelty and suffering experienced by chickens, cows, goats, and other farmed animals—despite them making up the majority of animals impacted by humans.
Our journey has taken us from early community discussions in local markets to engagement with farmers, educators, and policy voices. Step by step, we continue to grow a movement that combines awareness, research, and action to create sustainable, compassionate change.
