Who are we

Effective Animal Advocacy Kenya (EAAK) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the welfare of animals through evidence-based strategies, community outreach, and education. We work across Kenya to promote compassionate living,
influence policy, and empower advocates to make a lasting impact for animals.

What we do

We focus on three core pillars to drive meaningful change:

• Capacity Building

We empower individuals, communities, and institutions with the knowledge and tools needed to promote better animal welfare
practices, particularly in farming systems.

• Awareness Creation

Through education, community outreach, and stakeholder engagement, we raise public consciousness about the importance
of animal welfare and its connection to human and environmental well-being.

• Campaigning

We lead and support strategic campaigns that advocate for stronger animal welfare policies, better farming practices, and a
more compassionate food system.

• Advocacy for humane practices in Key sectors

Drive public understanding of humane and sustainable practices by highlighting the role of ethical treatment in agriculture,
urban planning, and legislation. And advocating for evidence-based policies that prioritise animal welfare and ecological
sustainability.

• Strategic partnership and community engagement

Collaborate with educational institutions, NGOs, and local government to launch animal welfare programs tailored to
community needs.
